Childcare/ Adventure Center
Free, on-site childcare is available for students who have children between the ages of 2 ½ and 12. The Adventure Center provides a safe learning environment designed to provide children with an introductory curriculum and engaging activities.
Transportation Assistance
Transportation assistance is provided to students as a cost-effective way for students to attend class. Assistance is provided in the form of Regional Transportation District (RTD) passes for bus and/or rail services. Carpooling options can also be arranged.
Career and Transition Services
The Excel Center curriculum provides each student with an individualized road map designed to help students succeed. Students will complete course requirements via direct instruction and build on long-term knowledge. Credits can also be earned through online learning options, from prior work experience, and by taking courses at one of our partnering higher-education institutions. Student Support Services Specialists can also provide job placement assistance so you can maintain a job while attending school.

Words from our Students
“It’s in person and it’s free, and it’s more of an educational environment where you really get a chance to learn one-on-one with the teacher.”
“The journey I am on now is about putting back in the community and helping, encouraging and motivating the people who remind me of who I once was. I now know how smart, resilient, determined and powerful I am.”
“I tried to go to school three times. I’ve done adult learning courses…what’s different this time is I had to go to the bottom to see that I could go to the top. After a couple of months being here, I’ve gained friends, I’ve gained confidence, I’ve gained a voice. I’m always heard—I’m heard with positive things, not negative things.”
